Use a plastic roof rake with an extended handle, operated from ground level.
Key principles:
- Work both sides equally to avoid uneven arch loading
- Never use metal tools directly on panels , they damage the protective coating
- Stay off the roof , a snow-loaded Quonset hut is not a safe surface
- Don’t wait for a crisis , remove snow before accumulation approaches your rated capacity
