There are two options available for insulation at Metal Pro Buildings: blanket insulation and spray foam insulation. Blanket insulation is one of the most popular insulation for our Quonset models. It is made up of small fibres, mostly fibreglass and sometimes mineral wool or natural fibres. This rugged insulation is used in floors, ceiling, and inside of walls.
Insulation blankets will not break down or sag from vibrations and will not pull apart during normal applications. Spray foam insulation is an insulation and air barrier material that seals walls, floors, and ceiling cavities against air movement. This liquid foam insulation has a foaming agent and a polymer like polyurethane that combines to fill every gap of the Quonset hut structure to create an airtight seal.
