For areas with heavy snow, a Gable, steep Shed, or Arched roof is the best choice. The angled or curved design allows snow to slide off naturally instead of piling up and putting too much weight on the structure. In regions with high winds, an Arched roof can also be advantageous because its aerodynamic shape reduces wind uplift forces. Regardless of the design, the most important factor is how the roof is attached. The entire roof structure must be securely anchored to the container’s steel frame using hurricane clips or engineered brackets to prevent wind from lifting it off.
