The best way to stop “cut-and-enter” theft is to line the inside of your walls. Adding 3/4-inch plywood or heavy-duty steel mesh (remesh) to the interior studs creates a secondary barrier. Even if a thief cuts the outer skin, they will be met with a material that requires different tools and much more time to penetrate.
